This display will explore the figure as something porous, shifting and in constant relation to its surroundings. Rather than presenting the body as fixed or contained, these works consider it as responsive—shaped by light, season, and environment. Forms appear to soften, open, and transform, reflecting the rhythms of spring and summer. Set against the unique backdrop of the Cotswolds, this exhibition will bring together a dynamic group of artists working within the realm of figurative practice where the figure appears both familiar and elusive. Bodies are fragmented, distorted, or reassembled, reflecting the complexities of contemporary life and the instability of self-perception across seasons.
